We’ve had a great time celebrating our 5th Graders as they finish their time at Ames and move on to new adventures! They’ve had an amazing week full of memories – including 5th Grade Games Night at Hauser, yesterday’s Chicago Boat Trip and today’s all-school Field Day. To round out the fun here are the details for this Friday’s special events:

Friday: 5th Grade End-of-Year Picnic & Awards

  • Time: 10:00am to 1:30pm (includes walking to and from the park)
  • Location: Outside at the North Riverside Commons Park
  • Note: All parents/guardians are invited, but please do not bring younger or older siblings to the picnic. This event is for 5th grade students and their parents/guardians only.

Friday: 5th Grade Clap-out

  • Time: 2:45pm
  • Location: Front of Ames by the playground area
  • Note: All parents/guardians are encouraged to gather and clap out our 5th grade students as they leave Ames one last time!

We look forward to making this a memorable day for our wonderful 5th graders!
